How hot are these two? Business partners and long time friends, Richie Nakano and Kitty Gallisa from Hapa Ramen in San Francisco, CA.  I was hanging out with these two noodle connoisseurs today. I should have brought some meatballs for them! Next time fo sho.

Richie was roasting some fresh pumpkin for the vegetarian stock.  OMG it was beyond deelish. Pumpkin is an absolute must at this time of year, people. So stick your face in some.

Yumm, Pumpkin. Me likey.

This picture says it all. He sits before us in all his 95 years of glory, the legendary Mr. Chuck Williams.  Ever hear of his little store, Williams-Sonoma?  I have a little inside joke with Chuck to see if I can convince him to change the name of the store to Williams-Sonia.  Sounds great, right?!? He’s warming up to the idea.

Chuck & his ladies. Happy 95th my friend!

We had a little birthday party for Chuck at one of his (and my), favorite restaurants Betelnut in San Francisco.  Boy does he like his spicy food and what a sweet tooth he has. He ate his cake and ice-cream and then moved onto my bowl.

I’m all too happy to share.  This is what life is all about to me.  Sharing life experiences, surrounded by people you love over incredible food and drinks.

Chef Alexander Ong, always humbled to eat your incredible food at Betelnut.
